A discussion of the Bible gets intense at McGill’s Barbershop. Robert Salley, a regular customer at the shop, quizzes the Rev. W.W. Miller about some scripture in the New Testament. The minister retorts from the barber’s chair, stabbing the air with his finger to make his point. With Miller still gesticulating, Salley reexamines a Bible verse, working to divine the meaning of the minister’s words and fit it in with what he sees on the printed page. As Salley pours over the Good Book, talk continues…..through it all, the amused barber and customers can’t help but chuckle once in awhile.
