Photo editing. This is one of the largest events I worked on as a civilian contractor Director of Photography for Marine Corps Base, Quantico. In one weekend I had the pleasure of editing through several thousand images from at least 12 Marine Corps Combat Correspondents covering the event. This is also the first marathon I had ever covered, and my take away was I learned men’s nipples bleed because of the friction caused by their shirts rubbing while running. Apparently lubricants are required to avoid this. I’ve learned many interesting things as a photojournalist over the years….
